In October 2018, cyclone VAIA devastated the forests of the NORTH-EAST with winds of 200KM per hour ( cjampiuz Forni di Sotto – ud ) and 815 mm of rain in 48 hours.
In living memory, our forests have never been so damaged by natural phenomena.

Tens of millions of trees uprooted, millions more broken or felled. An immense volume of material that risks remaining in the forest, fueling the spread of parasites. A forest heritage that must be recovered and enhanced in the shortest possible time. The forest is one of the “essential” assets that the planet has. It produces oxygen, stores the infamous CO2 and at the same time mitigates the increase in global temperature.
Wood, as the only truly renewable raw material that can be reworked at the end of the cycle, compared to any other material, contributes to reducing emissions into the atmosphere. As producers of wooden houses, outdoor structures and furniture, we promptly joined the PEFC initiative with the “PEFC SOLIDARITY SUPPLY CHAIN” program.
To prevent the felled wood from remaining in the forest, we have committed ourselves to the local organizations to purchase wood for a quantity equal to the needs for the next 4+5 years, storing it in an adequate manner so that it maintains all the mechanical characteristics and durability of the wood. structural wood. It is “mountain” wood with very close growth rings whose fiber guarantees structural superiority compared to wood coming from different latitudes.
For all this we will also be able to “reserve for our customers” advantageous price conditions and each of them will be given a plaque which will highlight that the structure of the building was built with wood coming from the “PEFC-2018 SOLIDARITY CHAIN “.
A solidarity supply chain that will be good for man, the environment and the territory.
